At Shining Spectrum Farmstead, we invite you to meet our vibrant, inquisitive and spunky residents who bring joy to our farm. Each of our animals has a unique story to tell, and we are proud to provide a nurturing environment for them to thrive. Join us in celebrating the joy, comfort, and peace they provide to all the individuals that visit the sensory farm.

Frost

Frost AKA 'Ol Jefe' as we like to call him. Frost thinks he is the boss! He is mister personality, loves the attention, and wants to be noticed. He is a wethered Nigerian Dwarf and was born April 11, 2020.

Pearl

Pearl is one of our does. She is a Nigerian Dwarf and always looks like she is smiling. She was born February 23, 2021 and is the mother to Thelma & Louise.

Pebbles

Pebbles is our second doe and is the mother of Reacher & Rogue. She is sweet but standoffish at first until you get to know her. She likes to watch you from afar and come to you when she feels ready. She was born February 27, 2021.

Thelma

Thelma is a Nigerian Dwarf and she is the sweetest. She loves to snuggle up under your chin and would let you hold her all day long! She is the tallest and skinniest of the most recent kids born, and she was born March 13, 2025.

Louise

We like to say that Louise is wide open! She is determined, resilient, strong willed, and dances to her own beat. She is a Nigerian Dwarf and was born March 13, 2025.

Reacher

Reacher is a Nigerian Dwarf and was the only male of the kids born spring of 2025. He is a hoss and has consistently outweighed all the kids since birth, but he is so sweet and loves snuggles. He jumps the highest as well. He was born March 29, 2025.

Rogue

She is a Nigerian Dwarf and has the sweetest face. She is a little bit of a nibbler, and we are working on training to stop this habit. She was bottle fed and loves the attention. She was born March 29, 2025.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is docile and sweet. He is a Nigerian Dwarf, and his fur is thicker than the others. He loves children and does well at all events with large groups of people. He was born June 11, 2020.

Ben Elf

He is a Nigerian Dwarf and is our little escape artist! B.E. should have been short for Breaking & Entering. He tries daily to escape to explore, but he has beautiful markings and is loved by all. He was born June 15, 2020.
